Happy Thanksgiving from Stukent!
This year, we want to first take a moment to say congratulations! This year has been a wild ride, and instructors have had to be some of the most adaptable professionals in the world.
Thanks to your efforts, students are still receiving high-quality education, and they still have bright futures.
We are so thankful to you for that!

We can’t let this holiday pass without also thanking all the organizations and individuals who dedicate time and effort to assisting Stukent in our mission to help educators help students help the world.
The following organizations have enthusiastically continued their support of and dedication to students and educators through the curveballs 2020 has thrown.
Jump$tart is a national nonprofit coalition of more than 100 organizations from business, finance, academia, education, government and other sectors, which share a commitment to “financial smarts for students.” The Jump$tart Coalition works to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the need for financial education, especially among youth; fosters collaboration among financial literacy stakeholders; and promotes and supports effectiveness in financial education endeavors.
DECA is preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to be college and career ready. With nearly a 75-year history, DECA has impacted the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators, and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. DECA’s programs and activities have constantly evolved as they use the latest technology and apply cutting edge educational research.
Business Professionals of America (BPA) has the ability to enhance student participation in professional, civic service, and social endeavors. Business Professionals of America members participate in these activities to accomplish their goals of self-improvement, leadership development, professionalism, community service, career development, public relations, student cooperation, safety, and health.
Some of BPA’s other major programs include the National Leadership Academy, National Officer elections, and scholarships. The Torch Awards Program and BPA Cares Program recognize students and chapters, respectively, for their leadership and service to their chapter and community.
Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) provided a grant for ALL high schools in eastern Washington and the state of Idaho to receive Stukent’s Mimic Personal Finance Simulation and Curriculum FREE for five years. This generous $2.8 million donation will give high school students all over the state the opportunity to acquire personal financial skills using state-of-the-art technology and decision-learning theory. Participating high schools will also have the opportunity to have Idaho Central Credit Union visit their school once a year to receive hands-on financial education.
The Van Duyse Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (VELI), located in Benin, Africa, is based on an innovative educational model called “Leadership Education.” This program is specifically adapted to cultivate great leaders through development of critical thought dedicated to leadership skills rather than simply completing an education through the traditional process. The mission of the institute starts with a clear outcome: “Ending suffering in Africa that is caused by poverty.” The solution will come from a grass-roots movement of African leaders that collaborate together on Africa’s economic problems. VELI’s mission is to build a new generation of powerful leaders and entrepreneurs that will work together to end suffering and poverty in Africa.
The Stukent Advisory Board is made up of industry professionals. The members help ensure that our certifications are up to date with industry trends, so that instructors can be sure the materials they use in class are relevant.
We are also incredibly grateful to the authors who have joined the Stukent family this year by bringing new e-textbooks and simulations to educators around the world.
Early this year, Brian Sheehan and Ed Russell launched “Advertising: Selling in Today’s World” along with 83 classroom resources. These resources, as well as the regularly updated e-textbook will help educators ensure their course is up to date every semester.
Jamie Ward and Alisa Agozzino launched a brand new e-textbook, “PR Principles,” last month, and they will be collaborating with Stukent on a future public relations simulation. This courseware will help students receive practical, hands-on experience and knowledge before starting their careers in public relations.
Nathan David authored “Digital Marketing Analytics,” the only e-textbook that gives students hands-on experience with every major platform in the industry. This complete courseware includes the necessities for teaching digital marketing analytics and empowers students to add value to any company on day one.
Brennan Davis released “Business Analytics,” and served as the subject-matter expert for Mimic Analytics. This courseware gives students hands-on experience with cleaning and analyzing real datasets before starting their careers in analytics.
Happy Thanksgiving from Stukent! We hope you have a fantastic holiday weekend no matter how you’re celebrating this year!
