Professor of the month, March 2024: Fabian Marks

Fabian Marks is a marketing professor from Humber College who has equipped his students with industry knowledge and engaging courses. In recognition of his dedication to shaping students into prepared professionals, we selected Fabian as Stukent’s® Professor of the Month for March 2024!

Professor Marks has held notable positions in the marketing industry such as VP of marketing at Unilever Caribbean and director at Unilever Bestfoods Latin America. He describes his time leading marketing for a large multinational as one of the best experiences one can have in the marketing sector.

What sets Professor Marks apart is his enthusiasm for classroom discussion and engagement. Professor Marks has used Stukent's "Market Research Essentials" courseware and the Digital Marketing Analytics Simternship™ in his courses. In the Simternship, Fabian's students stepped into the role of a digital marketing analyst at Buhi Supply Co. They were tasked with helping the company improve the performance of its digital marketing campaigns.

During the simulation, students learn the importance of strategically prioritizing digital marketing analytics projects, effectively allocate budget to maximize profits, perform A/B testing, and more.

Professor Marks emphasizes the importance of educators actively participating in Stukent's simulations. By experiencing the simulations firsthand, educators can gain a deeper understanding of the concepts and strategies involved, enabling them to offer more insightful guidance to their students.
