Brittany Porter-Yeates is an esteemed professor at Central Wyoming College who is known for pioneering education advancements in Wyoming. She played a pivotal role in the creation, development, and implementation of the first bachelor’s program at the community college level in the state. This groundbreaking achievement not only enhanced the educational landscape of Wyoming but also set a precedent for community colleges across the nation.

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Brittany has made a profound impact on her students’ lives. She has witnessed several students graduate from Central Wyoming College against all odds, overcoming personal challenges that many would find insurmountable. One of the most rewarding aspects of her career is witnessing the “ah-ha” moments in her classes. These moments of clarity and understanding are proof of her effectiveness as an educator and her ability to inspire her students.
Brittany has successfully integrated Stukent’s Social Media and Marketing Simternships™ into her curriculum. These tools have been instrumental in providing her students with hands-on experience and practical insights into the world of marketing. By using these Simternships, her students have gained valuable skills that prepare them for real-world challenges.
She advises other educators to first review and work through the Simternships with a small group of “test students” to maximize the benefits of Stukent resources in the classroom. This approach helps determine pacing and deadlines, ensuring that students allocate sufficient time to gain meaningful insights from their work.
