Chanda Gilmore is an instructor in the M.A. in Strategic Communication program and undergraduate public relations concentration in the Department of Communication at the University of Delaware. She brings over two decades of expertise in social media relations and public relations campaign development and 15 years of experience teaching public relations practices and techniques.
In addition to her teaching, Chanda has been deeply involved in student professional development, serving as an internship coordinator and mentor to nearly 500 undergraduate interns at more than 60 nonprofit and corporate organizations in the tri-state area.
Throughout her career, she has actively participated in associations dedicated to advancing the public relations profession, including the National Communication Association and the Public Relations Society of America. Chanda holds a B.A. in communication arts with a concentration in public relations from Hood College and an M.S. in public relations from Syracuse University.
