Dr. Laura Muñoz, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Marketing

Laura Muñoz is an award-winning author, consultant, and Professor of Marketing at the University of Dallas. With over fifteen years of experience, she specializes in marketing, entrepreneurship, and professional selling. Her expertise extends to litigation, where she has served as an expert marketing and advertising witness for major companies like Microsoft and Electronic Arts. An international speaker and consultant, she holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Texas-Pan American (now UT-Rio Grande Valley) and has completed specialized training at Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School.
Her research has garnered over 1,000 academic citations and appears in numerous prestigious journals, including the Journal of Marketing Education and the Journal of Business & Entrepreneurship. Muñoz has received consistent recognition for her contributions to the field, winning multiple "Best Paper" awards from the Society for Marketing Advances and the 2023 Hagerty Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Dallas.

Rich Miller, DBA
Associate Professor of Operations Management

Rich Miller is an award-winning author and Associate Professor of Operations Management at the University of Dallas. He received his Doctorate in Business Administration from Cleveland State University in Operations and Supply Chain Management in 2010. Before his DBA, he held several engineering positions at Tier 1 suppliers to Honda, Toyota, Ford, and General Motors.
In nearly 20 years of teaching, he has taught Operations Management, Lean Systems, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, and more. His research has been published in journals including the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Journal of Management Education, and Operations Management Education Review. In 2016 he received the Fritz Roethlisberger Award for best paper in the Journal of Management Education, and the Best Paper in the Sales Management track at the 2020 Society for Marketing Advances Annual Conference. In 2015 he was awarded the Haggerty Teaching Award at the University of Dallas.
