We asked Professor Chen Shah a few questions. Her answers are below:
WHAT STUKENT COURSEWARE HAVE YOU USED?
I have used the “Digital Marketing Essentials” textbook for my Digital Marketing class. Besides the text being broken into manageable chunks for students, I like the Snappos Email and Landing Page Optimization assignments that provide valuable skills development.
WHAT TEACHING TIPS WOULD YOU SHARE WITH OTHER PROFESSORS?
I use fun, personal, and relatable examples. My own kids often become the inspiration for the examples I choose. If it can captivate a kindergartner’s and third grader’s attention, we’re onto something. Really, the most important part of this tip is keeping things fun in the classroom – for the students and instructor.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES AND TALENTS?
I love to travel and think about it almost incessantly. My kids are pros at going through TSA lines! Plus, we never check any bags. Currently, I’m also re-addicted to yoga.
