At Stukent, our mission is to help educators help students help the world. We build innovative courseware and simulations that prepare students for professional roles. Our solutions save educators valuable prep time, are easy to implement in the classroom, and give students hands-on experience with industry concepts.

WENDY BOAGLIO GRATEREAUX’S CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Right out of undergrad, I started in sales and marketing, but my infatuation with the practice was cultivated at a young age. My dad taught me how to run a lemonade stand, which I later turned into a more profitable vegetable stand.
Through the years, I worked at various corporations as a marketing and business development leader and always pushed the technical boundaries of what we could do to stand out, to better connect with customers, and to be more relevant than our competitors. I went to UTSA to discuss a new social media and digital marketing course; the chair and I created them that day. My social media course grew to over 500 students a year. I love bringing my real-world experience into the classroom, and I now balance my time as an associate professor of practice with running a small marketing consulting firm.
WHICH STUKENT COURSEWARE AND SIMULATIONS HAVE YOU USED?
I use Stukent’s social media and digital marketing courseware and simulations! My students and I enjoyed the simulations so much, I now use the “Marketing Management Today” courseware and simulation, too. I have had students in all three of the classes, from undergrad to graduate school, get promoted at Buhi Supply Co.
WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU SHARE WITH OTHER EDUCATORS?
Use the simulations yourself first — students expect us to know all the nuances, but I still learn new things from them! Also, prep the students for what to expect. Ensure you leave time in class to explain the results and how to improve.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES AND TALENTS?
I love to read a lot. I keep pretty busy between the courseware at Stukent and the latest marketing books. I also have two active kids and try to be as involved as possible with their school and extracurricular activities.
WHERE CAN WE CONNECT ONLINE?
I am all over social media platforms; I use them to understand how they work and advise on them.
My primary platform is LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wendygratereaux/
Congratulations, Wendy! Thank you for everything you do for your students!
