Let Your Students Make Real HR Decisions
A full semester of HR internship experience
In the HR Management Simternship™, students step into the role of an HR intern at Ascensa Wellness, a growing multi-location health and wellness company. Across 10 rounds, students rotate through key HR functions and experience how different areas of human resources work together to support employees and business operations.
Throughout the Simternship™, students take on responsibilities tied to roles such as HR Coordinator, Payroll and Benefits Specialist, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Training Coordinator, HRIS Analyst, and HR Manager. Along the way, they complete realistic tasks involving employee support, hiring and onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, training initiatives, HR technology systems, and strategic HR decision-making.
By the end of the experience, students gain a broader understanding of modern HR operations while building practical workplace and communication skills through hands-on, scenario-based learning.
Practical skills that students can put on their resume
Each Simternship round places students in the role of a business professional, giving students the hands-on experience they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
