Dr. Beatrice Epwene is an associate teaching professor of communication at Penn State Harrisburg. With over 18 years of experience in the higher education classroom and several forays into the professional world, Dr. Epwene is a pioneering faculty member and researcher in the world of artificial intelligence.
With a Ph.D. in new media communication technologies, Dr. Epwene is never afraid to be at the forefront of emerging technologies. She was the first, at the time, to deploy X (formerly Twitter) for teaching and learning in her classroom. In the age of AI, it is no surprise that she is teaching pioneering courses in artificial intelligence at her university.
Dr. Epwene is particularly committed to expanding AI awareness and access among learners worldwide, believing that equitable AI literacy is essential in preventing future technological divides. Her work emphasizes that the next generation must not only use AI tools, but they must understand them, question their reach and possibilities, and shape their development responsibly. She is a zealous emissary for an AI-first world.

Scott Campbell is a professor and program coordinator for the Digital & Social Media Marketing Graduate Certificate in the School of Marketing at Seneca Polytechnic, located in Toronto, Ontario. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience in sales and marketing, and over a decade of experience in postsecondary education.
Prior to teaching, Scott worked primarily in brand management, product innovation, and consumer marketing with Fortune 500 companies. At Seneca, he has taught a range of marketing courses, including marketing fundamentals, strategy, presentations, research, and sales.
More recently, his work has focused extensively on artificial intelligence and its implications for both the marketing professional and higher education. Scott spent a year of professional development researching generative AI, exploring how it is transforming marketing roles and skills, how it can be effectively integrated into marketing education, and how educators need to rethink teaching, assessment, and AI literacy as these technologies continue to evolve.

Dr. Claudio Schapsis is an assistant professor of marketing in the Jack Welch College of Business and Technology at Sacred Heart University. He teaches digital advertising and social media marketing, and also delivers AI seminars for corporate leadership teams, including Tauck. He brings 20 years of industry experience to the classroom.
His research examines consumer behavior around emerging technologies: augmented reality in retail, metaverse shopping, cryptocurrency, and NFTs, published in Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Product & Brand Management, and Human Behavior and Emerging Technologies. His current work examines how AI obscures the origins of its reasoning, making human judgment more valuable as execution becomes effortless.
Dr. Schapsis created the CAPTURE framework, a structured prompting method that teaches students to use AI as a thought partner rather than a shortcut, which he applies in the Stukent Simternship. He holds a Doctor of Professional Studies from Pace University.
