We asked Jodi a few questions. Her answers are below.
WHAT STUKENT COURSEWARE HAVE YOU USED?
I have used Mimic Personal Finance in my career and college readiness class. I am also using Mimic Social in my social media marketing class.
WHAT TEACHING TIPS WOULD YOU SHARE WITH OTHER TEACHERS?
I tell a lot of stories. I share my experiences, things I have heard, and what is happening all around us. If I heard about something or experienced something that relates to what they are learning, I tell my students all about it. I feel that this keeps my students informed and entertained … I am very dramatic when I tell them my stories.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES AND TALENTS?
I am an avid runner. Last year I set a goal to run 2,020 miles and I ran 2,094. This is not only a goal because it is far but also because I got a D in PE in high school because I could not run the mile.
