Chen Shah is a leader in strategy, integrated marketing, and brand/product management. In addition to her dedication to education, Lydia has also managed multiple clients over the last 13 years as an independent marketing and strategy consultant.

We asked Professor Chen Shah a few questions. Her answers are below:

WHAT STUKENT COURSEWARE HAVE YOU USED?

I have used the “Digital Marketing Essentials” textbook for my Digital Marketing class. Besides the text being broken into manageable chunks for students, I like the Snappos Email and Landing Page Optimization assignments that provide valuable skills development.

WHAT TEACHING TIPS WOULD YOU SHARE WITH OTHER PROFESSORS?

I use fun, personal, and relatable examples. My own kids often become the inspiration for the examples I choose. If it can captivate a kindergartner’s and third grader’s attention, we’re onto something. Really, the most important part of this tip is keeping things fun in the classroom – for the students and instructor.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES AND TALENTS?

I love to travel and think about it almost incessantly. My kids are pros at going through TSA lines! Plus, we never check any bags. Currently, I’m also re-addicted to yoga.
