Stukent Accessibility Charter
Accessibility Compliance
Stukent uses a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) to document our current conformance with accessibility standards, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Our targeted standard is WCAG 2.2 A and AA — the most current version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, which builds on and includes all criteria from WCAG 2.1. We have chosen to aim directly for 2.2 rather than treat 2.1 as an intermediate milestone, because we believe our partners and learners deserve a platform built to today’s standard.
This report reflects where we are in that journey. Conformance levels vary by platform and are documented in full in the tables below.
Accessibility Statement
At Stukent, accessibility is more than a checklist; it's a fundamental commitment to inclusivity and opportunity for everyone. We believe that technology should empower, not exclude. Our mission is to break down barriers and ensure that all learners have access to the educational resources they need to succeed.
We don't view accessibility as a mere technical or business requirement. We see it as a human imperative. We recognize that education is a gateway to opportunity, and we're dedicated to ensuring that our technology opens those doors wide for everyone. Our commitment extends beyond meeting WCAG 2.2 standards; we strive to create a truly seamless and positive experience for all users, including those who rely on assistive technologies.
Accessibility is an ongoing journey, and we acknowledge that challenges may arise. We are committed to transparency and continuous improvement.

Disclaimer Regarding Instructor-Created Content
Please note that while our platform provides tools and features to support accessibility in curriculum content, including the ability for authors to add descriptive alternative text to images and the inclusion of captions in embedded videos, the accessibility of content created directly by instructors using our platform is ultimately the responsibility of the content creator. We encourage and provide guidance to our users on creating accessible materials, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all instructor-generated content. We also cannot guarantee the compliance of any content on third-party websites linked by content creators. Users are advised to contact the content creator or their institution directly if they encounter accessibility barriers within instructor-created materials.
WCAG 2.2 Report
This report covers the entire Stukent Platform. To make this report easier to understand, we’ve broken our findings out into three tables:
Classic Stukent: Our classic platform, hosted at my.stukent.com and covers all interfaces except for our Simulations, which are covered separately.
Stukent CTE: This is our latest platform, hosted at app.cte.stukent.com and covers all interfaces except for our Simulations, which are covered separately.
Simulations: Simulations are accessed from both platforms. Each simulation is individually audited across all A and AA criteria and findings for all criteria are noted in the remarks.
Table 1: Success Criteria, Level A and AA for Classic Stukent
Please note: The instructor interface hosted at instructor.stukent.com has not been audited yet, and may contain critical accessibility issues. We address the timing of audit and remediation of these items in the roadmap section.
Table 2: Success Criteria, Level AA for Stukent CTE
Please note: The teacher interface and course content have not been fully audited yet and may contain critical accessibility issues. We address the timing of audit and remediation of these items in the roadmap section.
Table 3: Simulation Findings for A and AA Compliance
Please note: Simulation resources such as Scoring Guides, Instructor Guides, or other simulation specific resources have not been fully audited, and may contain issues. We address the timeline for auditing and remediating these resources in our roadmap.
Table 4: Sims in Progress
The following simulations are currently being audited or remediated. The remarks and explanations section details known issues that users may encounter.
Accessibility Roadmap
We are actively addressing all accessibility issues across our platform and will continue until we are fully AA compliant. Once we achieve this milestone, we will continue to regularly audit, remediate, and improve our platform. Our roadmap is as follows:
Complete audit of all simulations by May 15, 2026
Address issues (not including attachments, slides, and simulation resources) with all Simulations by Jul 31, 2026
Audit of Instructor/Teacher Interfaces by Sep 25, 2026
Remediation for Known Findings in Student Interface (including simulation attachments, slides, and resources) by Dec 18, 2026
Remediation of Instructor/Teacher Interfaces by Mar 26, 2027
Next Full Platform Audit Begins: Q4 2026
