Dr. Lois Jones is an assistant professor in the department of communication at Lipscomb University, specializing in public relations, advertising, event planning, cross-cultural communication, and civil discourse. With academic credentials in communication and leadership, she researches the intersections of mindset, motivation, student success, and civil discourse in education and professional settings. Dr. Jones regularly presents her work at regional, national, and international conferences, focusing on strategies to foster meaningful dialogue and improve educational relationships. Her professional experience as an educator, journalist, PR practitioner, and social media brand manager enriches her teaching and research, making her a dynamic contributor to the field of communication studies.

Stephanie Longo
Assistant Professor of Corporate Communication
Dr. Stephanie Longo is currently an assistant professor of Corporate Communication at Penn State Scranton, where she is also the advisor of the Alpha Epsilon Rho honor society and a faculty mentor for the TriAlpha honor society. She received her Doctorate of Strategic Communication from Regent University in 2024. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from Regent University and a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Scranton. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian and French from the University of Scranton. Dr. Longo has written three books on Northeastern Pennsylvania's Italian American history, "Italians of Northeastern Pennsylvania" (2004), "Dunmore" (2012), and "Italians of Lackawanna County" (2018). Associate Clinical Professor in Marketing
Heather E. Philip, Ph.D., is an Associate Clinical Professor of Marketing experienced in designing and teaching asynchronous online courses, such as Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Marketing. Since 2018, she has refined her approach to teaching classes of 40 to 180 students in Canvas, consistently experimenting with practical, interactive strategies to foster student connection and engagement. Passionate about sharing what works in online education, she regularly facilitates faculty workshops on interactive tools such as H5P and DesignPLUS (CidiLabs). Her recent work also explores how AI can help students meaningfully reflect on their learning, including guiding them to publish their coursework as professional LinkedIn articles, as discussed in her chapter in the open-access book AI-Powered Education: Innovative Teaching Strategies to Elevate Student Learning (Mavs Open Press, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
