Debika Sihi earned her PhD from the The University of Texas at Austin. She also received both her Bachelor in Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting from UT.
Debika has industry experiences at Public Strategies, Inc. and Deloitte Tax LLP.
Debika’s loves to research marketing strategy. Specifically, she has researched a published papers on a firm’s strategic use of advertising, social media, and channel management with specific attention to digital marketing. Using Stukent as her courseware provider, she offers courses in E-Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and the Marketing of Nonprofit Organizations.
She has earned recognition over the years for her work. For example she was a finalist in Pennsylvania State University’s prestigious Business Marketing Doctoral Support Award Competition. She was also nominated for the Fred Moore Assistant Instructor Award for Teaching Excellence.
One way Debika gives back is by serving on the fundraising committee of an animal rescue organization.
