Professor of the Month: David Muir

David Muir, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Marketing

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States 

David’s latest research focuses on sophisticated marketing and pricing strategies of firms and their impact on consumer search, consideration set formation, and choice. His interests also extend to digital marketing and, specifically, to multi-channel attribution and mobile marketing. He previously received his Ph.D. in Applied Economics with specialties in Empirical Industrial Organization and Quantitative Marketing, M.A. in Statistics, B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Statistics, and B.A. in Economics with Honors, all from the University of Pennsylvania.

He teaches undergraduate classes in digital marketing and marketing analytics, and he has used both our simulation and our text.
