Stukent + ICCU Student Scholarships

2023 Student Scholarship Application Information

Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) has partnered with Stukent to provide financial literacy education materials to schools in Idaho and Eastern Washington. As part of this partnership, students who use the Stukent Personal Finance simulation and curriculum thanks to ICCU are able to participate in this exclusive scholarship opportunity.

The scholarship consists of two essay responses and a few simple questions. Students are highly encouraged to review the essay grading rubric prior to writing their essays.

Fifteen (15) students will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

Scholarship Overview

Stukent has partnered with Idaho Central Credit Union to award $15,000 in scholarships to students using the Stukent High School Personal Finance simulation

These scholarship funds are exclusively available to students in Idaho and Eastern Washington. Fifteen students will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. 

Eligibility Requirements

Each applicant MUST:

  • be a high school student residing in Idaho or Eastern Washington.
  • have completed at least three billing cycles within the Mimic Personal Finance Simulation.
  • complete the scholarship application in full and review/ follow the grading rubric for the two essay questions.

Each essay is clear and concise and addresses the prompt(s) in full. Ideas are well developed and the applicant elaborates effectively on their ideas.

• The applicant Identifies EACH of the top three lessons they learned from using the Stukent Personal Finance simulation in their class. (First essay)

•​​ The applicant clearly outlines their plan of what they would do if they were awarded the scholarship. (Second essay)​​
Each essay prompt is organized and flows well. It is evident that the applicant puts critical thought into their individual responses.​

• Ample detail is provided in each essay







To be awarded full points, each scholarship essay must be devoid of any spelling or grammar errors.​
