Mimic NIL provides students hands-on educational experiences with important elements of name, image, and likeness concepts. In this simulation, students will take on the role of a consultant at Julian Communications Agency, a fictitious advertising agency.

THE AUTHOR

Dr. Maribeth Kuzmeski

Dr. Maribeth Kuzmeski is a professor in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. She teaches several marketing courses, including Personal Branding: Name, Image & Likeness. Maribeth started The Brand Squad at OSU, a select group of business students certified to assist student-athletes with their NIL efforts. She brings a unique perspective and understanding of student-athletes to her career, as her son played Division I hockey, her nephew plays football at Wisconsin, and her nieces play Division I volleyball and soccer.

Additionally, Maribeth is the President of Red Zone Marketing, an award-winning marketing consulting firm with clients throughout the United States. Maribeth has a BA from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, an MBA from The George Washington University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
