Bennett is an award-winning researcher and assistant professor at Howard University. His research has been published in several top-ranking journals, including Business Horizons, the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Marketing Education Review, and the Journal of Current Issues in Advertising Research. Bennett's research focuses on the moderating effect of celebrity credibility and source persuasion. Delancy’s research also focuses on emerging marketing topics (i.e., subscription boxes, COVID-19, and cryptocurrency). Delancy was honored as the Clemson University PAW Journey Guest Professor of the Game for the 2017 Clemson Homecoming Football Game and was an Honoree at the Clemson University Football Program’s Faculty Appreciation Dinner in 2020, 2018, 2016, 2015, and 2014. Delancy was also the Zeta Tau Alpha Teacher of the Year for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009.
