Program head Alisa Agozzino, Ph.D., APR, is an associate professor of public relations at Ohio Northern University. Dr. Agozzino teaches a variety of classes including; Introduction to Public Relations, Public Relations Writing, Principles of Social Media, Public Relations Research and Public Relations Campaigns. From nonprofit, to professional sports teams, to public relations professionals, Dr. Agozzino is exploring how those using social media tools are doing so to effectively reach their target audiences in order to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships. In addition to ONU’s PRSSA adviser, Alisa serves as the national PRSSA faculty adviser, board member of Central Ohio PRSA and the past chair of the national PRSA Educator’s Academy section. Dr. Agozzino is also a recent co-editor of Stukent’s newest PR Principles text.
