Lydia Chen Shah loves weaving in her family and personal experiences as stories for marketing lessons at Cal Poly Pomona. She is a marketing consultant and executive coach specializing in strategy, digital, brand/product management, integrated communications, and organizational culture. Her clients include companies in technology, education, nonprofit, fitness, and financial services. Lydia previously led all marketing for a digital advertising agency ranked as one of the top search engine marketing agencies by Advertising Age. Her career includes Bank of America and Indymac Bank, where she worked in e-commerce, credit/debit, retail banking, and multicultural marketing. Before teaching at Cal Poly Pomona, Lydia taught at Loyola Marymount University. She holds Six Sigma Green Belt certification and co-founded the Los Angeles chapter of Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).
