I’m from La Mirada, California. I have a bachelor’s degree in e-business management.
I’ve been teaching for four years, mostly for Fullerton College, UCSD, and CSUF. I teach courses in digital marketing such as SEO, SEM, web design, and online advertising.
I’ve run my own consultancy since 2010. My prior experience was with Disney Parks and Resorts Online and with IBM Global Services. My job has always revolved around web technologies and digital marketing, with an emphasis on search engine optimization. I’ve built a loyal audience of SEOs and often speak at industry events.
It’s important to give the next generation of digital marketers great templates, workflows, and processes, rather than making them dedicate 25 years to develop them the way I have.
The moment a student thought that Canvas had the wrong courseware because the author had the same name as me.

Being an Innovation Partner is my opportunity to have a voice in how future digital marketers will use and interact with courseware and SEO simulation software. It enables me to clone myself with every new instructor who teaches SEO using my framework.
I was referred by a fellow instructor, Kathy Standen.
I want to teach and get my framework of how to perform search engine optimization into the future of our industry.
At the RD Summit, I briefly forgot that my audience spoke Portuguese and talked way too fast, not realizing it until people started looking around at each other in confusion.
I enjoy traveling, listening to audiobooks, and volunteering.
I enjoy “Across the Universe.”
