Meet Dr. N, an experienced communication studies instructor with a passion for helping students feel at ease in public speaking. Since 2002, she’s shared her expertise with thousands of students, guiding them toward greater comfort and confidence. Dr. N resides in Austin, TX, alongside her family and two furry companions. Her academic journey includes earning a PhD in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011. Her research focused on understanding how romantic couples navigate secrecy in their relationships. With this background, Dr. N brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching. With a rich educational background and over 15 years of experience in both academia and the corporate world as a consultant, Tara is a seasoned expert in the fields of communication, organizational culture, leadership, organizational change, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The combination of her Bachelor of Commerce and Master’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies provides her with a unique educational blend that empowers her approach to challenge from diverse angles and foster innovative, holistic solutions based on assessed needs.
