Essentials of Social Media Marketing

Design Platform-specific Social Media Marketing
Students learn how to tailor their marketing efforts based on the platform, whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, or TikTok.

Develop a Social Media Marketing Strategy
Students will learn to identify a target market and create personas. They’ll practice creating a content and distribution strategies, optimizing social media networks, and determining resources, roles, and responsibilities.

Practice Personal Branding
Students will learn best practices for personal branding, define their desired personal brand, and then conduct an online audit to assess where their brand stands currently.

Stukent’s Social Media Simternship is a social media marketing simulation designed to give students real-world experience with platform-specific strategy.

In this simulation, students gain hands-on experience with organic social posts, promote paid social posts, and negotiate with influencers in several different capacities. Students will step into the role of a social media manager for a simulated company, Buhi Supply Co., where they will manage a simulated budget, respond to customers, and plan and analyze the success of a social media campaign. This Simternship is user-friendly and gives students real-world experience to take with them into the industry.
