This Simternship is the closest to us getting students jobs in sales by giving them opportunities to interact and to practice.

I am excited to share that I have completed my hashtag#Simternship from Stukent Education in Advanced Selling! This hashtag #Simternship from Stukent was broken down into 12 modules and was spread across 6 weeks to complete. It helped me enhance my knowledge about sales and sales techniques. The entire course was in form of a simulation which involved video call interaction, interactive dialogue for sales pitches, sales discovery calls, sales negotiations and business development calls, all of which were designed using AI. This in my opinion was an exciting and engaging way to let the students be immersed in the sales environment and learn all about sales which is a must have skill in a hands on manner.

These were realistic scenarios that most definitely happen and because we used role-playing, it feels more real-life. I think I can take the skills I developed here and go out and really apply them.

A lot of other classes in my program were more traditional, and honestly, I don’t remember as much of that material. I remember this because I learned so much more by applying it. It was almost like an internship.

Reading these stories is much more interesting than reading a traditional textbook. It was kind of like reading a novel and then it puts yourself into that situation and having to experience it as if you were there.

I really enjoyed using the Business Communication Simternship this semester! I liked getting to test my knowledge from the chapters, hold interviews, write emails, and put together resumes. It allowed me to get as close to real-world experiences as we could get, which is missing from a lot of classes. This is something I would definitely recommend to other students before entering the workforce as it gives you hands-on experience of things that will be useful when preparing for the real world.

I really enjoyed the Business Communication Simternship, which came as a surprise to me. I’m not the best when it comes to technology, but I thought the simulation was super easy to use. It was also very effective, and I enjoyed that I was able to learn through someone else but also have an impact on the situation.

There are a lot of great features included in these simulations! As someone who has experience in the corporate world, I found some of it to be mundane, but it’s a very useful teaching tool for someone who has no work experience. Following this young adult into her career and learning along the way with her was fun and immersive. I also like how key concepts from the courseware were included to refresh the material we learned throughout each chapter. When taken seriously, I feel this is a very educational platform for students to get a little more comfortable doing new tasks as we start our entry-level positions and gain our footing. Starting a new career is a nerve-wracking time in an individual’s life, but I believe this made it a little easier to picture. Each win gave me a little more confidence. In my opinion, I was glad I experienced it and felt it was a fun way to get ready to enter the workforce.

I thought the simulation was a fantastic way to learn the material and bring it to life. Particularly, I really liked creating Taylor’s resume and going through her inbox, which would prompt us to answer her text messages and respond in a respectful and professional manner. I thought exercises like that were extremely useful in terms of setting the tone at her workplace. I also enjoyed following Taylor’s process through getting hired and what to do after that point, as I feel most of the things we learn in college pertain to how to get a job but not how to maintain one.

This class and courseware, ‘Business Communication: Through College & Career’ helped me prepare for job interviewing and the workplace in general. It gave me great knowledge of how I can present myself in a professional way!

With Professor Winship’s ‘Business Communication: Through College & Career’ book, the simulation, and the in-class instruction, I have gained the confidence I need for interviews and presentations. As someone who dreads public speaking, this course was truly a worthwhile experience for me. I truly feel confident and ready to enter the business world!
