Whether you are looking to modernize your tech stack, integrate more hands-on AI learning, or better prepare students for the 2026 job market, this summit offers the tools and inspiration to stay ahead of the curve.

In this dynamic event, we covered three critical areas:

Preparing students for an "AI-fluent" marketing workforce by providing insights into AI's impact and specific strategies.

Building your AI Educator’s Tool Kit by taking a look at the latest AI tools to enhance classroom engagement and foster creativity.

Mastering the next frontier of social media by diving into Bluesky to teach digital networking and community building.

Session 1

Entry-Level Roles and Career Readiness: Evolving Dynamics in the Age of AI

Beatrice Epwene

This session will focus on the shift in the workplace resulting from the arrival of artificial intelligence. The session will discuss the skills, knowledge, and talent expected of anyone entering the workforce today. It especially speaks to college graduates seeking entry-level roles, as well as to those preparing and advising students for their future careers. The session will emphasize that AI literacy is about more than theoretical knowledge of AI; it also involves understanding its practical application in an AI-First world.

Session 2

AI in Action: Tools, Tips, and Tricks for Teaching Marketing and Communications

Marcia Gomez, M.S.

Join this engaging session for professors seeking practical ways to incorporate AI into their teaching. This webinar will showcase useful AI tools, easy-to-apply prompting techniques, and creative classroom ideas for marketing and communications courses. Attendees will see how AI can support brainstorming, content development, personalization, feedback, and student skill-building without losing the human thinking that great teaching requires. The session will include actionable examples, teaching ideas, and strategies educators can adapt for a wide range of course types and experience levels.

Session 3

Using Bluesky for Teaching and Learning

Wahiba Chair, MBA
Elva Fisher

At 42M registered users, Bluesky, the decentralized alternative to X, is rapidly gaining traction, especially among academics and educators. However, empirical research on Bluesky remains largely focused on scholarly networking rather than classroom pedagogy. In this session, Wahiba and Elva share findings from their study on using Bluesky as a teaching and learning tool in hybrid communication courses. Attendees will walk away with actionable strategies for incorporating Bluesky in their classroom, using low-stakes, experiential activities and evidence-based approaches designed to improve learning and build community in an AI-driven world.
