Rita Schwisow is a marketing and sales educator at the University of Utah who is passionate about making the classroom feel less like a lecture hall and more like the real world. After spending 20 years in B2B sales and leadership at AT&T, she transitioned to higher education, where she brings experiential learning through real-world clients, hands-on projects, and AI literacy into her courses. Rita is also pursuing a PhD in management, with research focused on sales and AI. Her teaching philosophy is simple: students learn marketing best when they do marketing, not just read about it.
