Dr. Joie S. Hain is an award-winning Associate Professor of Marketing at Clayton State University,
specializing in digital marketing, social media, and professional selling. With over 25 years of
industry experience in entrepreneurship and financial services sales, she brings a practical, results-
driven perspective grounded in real-world expertise.
She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses and is recognized for excellence in teaching and
curriculum innovation. Her honors include the 2025–2026 Alice J. Smith Award, Clayton State’s
highest faculty distinction, multiple College of Business Professor of the Year awards, and national
recognition from Stukent as its inaugural Professor of the Year.
Her work focuses on digital marketing, sales performance, and the role of artificial intelligence in
business and education, delivering actionable insights for real-world application.
